Inferior: Women in Science

How we think is still largely controlled by gender stereotypical prejudice, but are these prejudices still accurate? Is there a fundamental difference between men and women? Angela Saini, a BBC-radio journalist, discovered that what we think to know about gender differences is based on shaky grounds and wrote a book about it. How come we think like this and why hasn’t science been able to change our traditional outlook on men and women. De Balie is hosting a discussion about the book with writer Angela Saini and professor Angela Maas.

A discussion with Angela Saini and Angela Maas about women in science, sexism and about how traditional thinking patterns related to gender are difficult to change even with scientific evidence.
