8 Mar 2018
Maastricht University: Diversity DayOn International Women’s Day, 8 March 2018, the Centre for Gender and Diversity and the new UM Diversity Officer launch a Diversity Day for the whole UM community.
The morning session (9.00-12.30) will be for and by students and deals with ‘Gender, Diversity and Sexual Harassment at UM’. The theme of the afternoon session (13.30-17.30) is about ‘Taking Steps Towards an Age-Friendly University’, focusing on the two most vulnerable age groups among staff: 25-35 and 55+. Both students and staff are welcome at each session.
The sessions are intended to provoke debate, facilitate the exchange of experience and generate input for measures that the UM can take to become a more inclusive organisation.
