This mini-symposium presents diverse sounds from two perspectives: the diversity of noise and vibration problems in industry and the diversity of voices that is needed at our universities. In the first part of the mini-symposium, speakers from vehicle industry and high-tech industry will share their experiences with sound and vibration problems within their application fields. In the second part, we will learn about gender imbalance in academia and possible ways forward.
