UHD Session | Navigating career progression in Dutch academia as an international woman academic

This online lunch consultation session brings together international women Associate Professors from Dutch universities in an informal and supportive setting. The session offers an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss career progression within Dutch academia, and explore the specific challenges and opportunities that international women academics encounter at the Associate Professor level.

Through peer-to-peer discussions, breakout sessions, and shared reflections, participants can learn from one another, identify common themes, and develop recommendations for strengthening career development and institutional support. In addition, the insights gathered during these sessions help inform the LNVH's advocacy and policy work aimed at improving the position, career opportunities, and inclusiveness of international women academics within Dutch higher education and research.

The meeting is designed to foster connection, mutual learning, and collective action, ensuring that participants' experiences contribute to broader conversations and policy developments across the sector.
