Inaugural lecture Iris van der Tuin - UU
Prof. Iris van der Tuin (Philosophy and Religious Studies) will give her inaugural lecture as professor of Theory of Cultural Inquiry on 6 December 2018. This chair is situated on the intersection of philosophy of science, and science and technology studies, cultural inquiry and cultural theory.The lecture, titled 'Resourceful: criticism and creativity in cultural inquiry', departs from the observation that cultural inquiry studies cultural objects, but is - as a practice - part of the culture under study.
