University Women of Europe Conference, Utrecht

The VVAO (Netherlands Federation of Women Graduates) is pleased to invite you to the next Annual General Meeting of the University Women of Europe in Utrecht which will be combined, as usual, with a two day conference. The conference in Utrecht, Netherlands, brings together University Women from all over Europe in a wonderful and inspiring environment.

Overall Program UWE Conference 'The Art of Networking – Skills, Styles and Values'

Thursday 27th August: Arrival and Registration. Informal welcome reception. Mayor’s place or University.

Friday 28th August: Introduction of the Conference Theme, keynote speeches and workshops, followed by a Dutch Evening, starting at the Dom Tower with the opening sounds of the Utrecht Early Music Festival.

Saturday 29th August:  Conference, workshops and Annual General Meeting 
UWE Action Plan, Reports on activities by NFAs, reports, elections, date and place next Conference.

Saturday 29th August: Festive dinner in the historic surroundings of the wonderful world of self-playing musical instruments, Museum Speelklok, including Tombola.

Workshop proposals
Submit your Proposal to boarduwe@gmail.com ultimately 15 July including 10 lines as a summary and a maximum of 300 words on the content of the workshop. Workshops should last no longer than 75 minutes, with approximately 20 minutes presentation.  A comparison with at least one other European country is preferable.  Deadline for workshop proposals: 15th July 2015. 

Participation Fee Conference
Early bird (paid before 15th July 2015): 195 Euro; one day 100 Euro  
Fee (paid after 15th July 2015): 220 Euro; one day 120 Euro
Non-members will pay 220 early bird and 250 after 15 July. The conference fee includes conference registration, all lunches, coffee/tea and conference, Dutch Evening, documentation. For participants of the festive dinner there is an additional fee of 35 Euro.
