The Barcelona Knowledge Hub is joining the celebration of the International Women’s Day organising several activities on the 4th, 5th and 6th of March in Barcelona. Those activities are:

InterSection Workshop: “Women and the academic ladder”
Several talks by women at different positions of the scientific and academic scale.

International Women’s Day Lecture: “Empowerment of women in the academic world”

Women’s Sephardic songs in concert

Venue: Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia (Carme 47, Barcelona)

The historical Gimbernat Anatomical Amphitheatre at the 18th Century building of the RAMC will embrace a concert of “Women’s Sephardic Songs” by the soprano Olga G. Miracle, accompanied by percussion instruments.

Visit of the Members of the YAE to the Museu Blau, the new Natural Science Museum of Barcelona

Time: 10 am to 1 pm
Venue: Edifici Fòrum, an outstanding Herzog & de Meuron building (Leonardo Da Vinci 4, Barcelona)
Members of the YAE will visit the Museu Blau, a new cultural icon for Barcelona. The exhibitions of the Museum propose a journey through the evolution of our planet Earth and the richness of natural world. The visit will be addressed by its Director Anna Omedes.
