From the Articles of Association, Foundation LNVH
(Dutch Network of Women Professors)

Article 1. Name and seat
The Foundation is called: Stichting Landelijk Netwerk Vrouwelijke Hoogleraren (F|oundation Dutch Network of Women Professors) and is established in the administrative community of Utrecht.

Article 2. Aim
1. The aim of the foundation is:
to promote the proportionate representation of women within the university academic community

2. The foundation tries to achieve this goal through:
a. strenghtening the ties among female full professors in the Netherlands, both within subject disciplines and interdisciplinarily, and supporting any activity that is related to their position as professor
b. promoting the progression of capable women into higher academic positions within universities, as well as avoiding women leaving the profession
c. cooperation with organisations, in the field of academic research and teaching which have comparable aims
d. aiming for a numerically equivalent representation of female full professors in local and national committees and advisory bodies in the field of academic research and teaching.
